- Vehicle didn't have any codes in system when it first came in, customer had cleared all codes We test drive vehicle & engine did not mis-fire Alex picked up & drove vehicle over weekend & it started misfiring again. Test on Scanner Found 8 Codes: P0300 – Cylinder Misfire Detected Random Cylinders P0303 – Cylinder 3 Misfire Detected P0304 – Cylinder 4 Misfire Detected P0501 – Vehicle Speed Sensor 'A' Range/Performance P1092 – VVEL Control Shaft Position Sensor Bank 2 Circuit P1127 – Exhaust Not Warm Enough to test Downstream Sensor P1136 – Intake Valve Timing Control Solenoid Valve Circuit Bank 2 P1649 – CAN Data Bus ABS No Signal Run Data Tests Check IATN Web Site & Tech Service Bulletins Troubleshoot Stored Codes Found #2 & #4 coils are bad & need replaced Recommend replace spark plugs at the same time Call customer with diagnosis & rough estimate
